BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Ysabel is an award-winning journalist who has spent her career covering the news from around the state of Idaho. Before entering the world of public relations, she worked at KTVB-Channel 7 where she anchored the Saturday Morning News and reported on a number of stories, specializing in crime, courts, and the legislature. Ysabel Bilbao started Bilbao & Co. in 2015, a public affairs and public education firm in Idaho. She has 15 years of experience in developing messages and disseminating information to inform and educate the public.
Carolyn enjoyed a 33 year career at KTVB Channel 7 television, where she became one of Idaho’s most experienced and best known television personalities. Carolyn has acted as an important representative and volunteer for many Treasure Valley organizations including Smart Women Smart Money, Boise Public Schools Foundation, Idaho Youth Sports Commission, the Saint Alphonsus Foundation, FUNDSY, the Boise Police Chiefs Citizen Advisory panel and the President of the FACES Foundation.
Monica has been on the FUNDSY board for six years. In Monica’s free time she likes restoring old homes and volunteering for local charities. She is married to Jim Walker and has two children, Alexandra and Maddison. Monica believes by being on FUNDSY’s board she has the ability to make a substantial impact on the community she calls home.
Blake is a University of Idaho graduate with degrees in Accounting and Finance and is currently an employee of US Ecology Inc. Not only does Blake help our community through Fundsy, he is also apart of Leadership Boise. Blake loves the outdoors! You can always find him golfing, mountain biking, skiing, and enjoying the beautiful nature of Idaho with his wife and 8 month old daughter.
Jessa Jahn is our secretary for Fundsy. Originally from Idaho Falls, Jessa made her way down to Boise in 1998 where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in communication from Boise State. Currently, Jessa is the Executive Director for Paws Rescue, Inc., a 501(c) non profit animal rescue organization. She has been with Paws since March 2013. Outside of work Jessa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending concerts, golfing, horseback riding and volunteering at the St. John’s food bank. Jessa is excited to bring her experience and knowledge from Paws to the Fundsy organization. Jessa loves working with Fundsy because, “the organization has lasting impact on community. Even decades later, the Fundsy sponsored building projects remain improving the quality of life for people living in Boise.”
Daniel is a Client Services Analyst at Clearwater Analytics. In his free time, he loves volunteering, football, basketball, kickball, bowling, biking, softball, and reading. This will be Daniel’s 4th term with Fundsy. Daniel believes it’s important to serve the community because:
“We get to work with other non-profits and help them fund projects/improvements that aid and assist people in need. Words can’t describe the feeling I get in return from knowing I made someone else’s life better… Working alongside the rest of the Board is a huge honor. “
Brist graduated Magna Cum Laude when she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the College of Health, Human Services, and Science at Ashford University in San Diego, CA.
Brist currently serves the community in several different ways. She sits on the board of directors for Fundsy, she sits on the Executive HR Committee for the Treasure Valley YMCA, and after graduating from Leadership Boise, through the Boise Chamber of Commerce, in 2017, she serves on the Leadership Boise Alumni committees for Membership and Community Involvement.
In her spare time, you can catch Brist traveling the world with her husband, Jo, enjoying the outdoors, cooking something amazing, or cuddling with her Great Dane, Atlas.
Keith Bushardt brings over 30 years of sales, marketing and executive leadership inside the insurance industry. Throughout his career, he has built and maintained a passion for creating breakthroughs in customer experience by taking an ‘outside-in’ view of the customer that results in customer longevity, profitability and brand loyalty.
Bushardt is currently the owner/operator of Farmers Insurance – Keith Bushardt Agency. He has held executive leadership positions with Blue Cross of Idaho, BlueCross Blue Shield of Nebraska, Wunderman, United HealthCare and WellPoint Health Networks through the course of his career.
Keith is a native ‘upstate’ New Yorker who has been fortunate to live in just about every region of the nation but now resides in Boise, ID with his wife, Linda.
Ted Challenger is a Boise-based entrepreneur who has been in the hospitality and entertainment business for the past twenty-six years. Not only has he helped the community through FUNDSY, Ted has also been on the Camp Rainbow Gold board for the majority of 25 years both as a board member and director up until he joined the FUNDSY board. Ted has been awarded Idaho Business Review’s 40 under 40, Channel 7’s Hero, and Idaho Business Review’s Healthcare Hero Volunteer Award. Ted’s latest venture is Boost Media, a fast- growing Boise-based marketing and advertising agency. Ted loves working for FUNDSY because he believes strongly about giving back to the community, and he understands the importance of giving established charities the infrastructure to help others.
Erin Erkins is an Idaho native and loves living in Boise, ID with her husband, three daughters and son. She enjoys being surrounded by her family and friends. You can find her running, hiking in the foothills, golfing and cooking.
Erin works for Erkins Commercial Real Estate of Lee & Associates Idaho as the Marketing & Business Development Director. Erin has a background of marketing and communications and program management in the nonprofit sector and strong business and community relationships.
Troy has worked in the field of Information Technology for 13 years all of which his tenure is with the J.R. Simplot Company.
Troy and his wife Tiffany have two kids, a girl and, a boy. They share the same love for fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle that they demonstrate daily to their kids in hopes one day when they are young adults, they will also have the same desire to be healthy and live an active lifestyle.
When Troy is not in the office or lifting weights in the gym you will find him with his kids outside riding bikes or playing various sports. He enjoys coaching his sons’ baseball and football teams as well as putting no his geek hat and sitting down for video games.
Bobbi Jo Meuleman
Prior to joining Governor Little’s administration in his personal office, Bobbi-Jo was the Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce, leading economic development efforts for the Gem State, and fostering ways of assisting communities, citizens, businesses, and visitors. Bobbi-Jo originally joined Idaho Commerce as the Chief Operating Officer in June 2016 as the right-hand to the Director where she was assisted in legislative efforts during the 2017 session and managing department staff and operations.
Bobbi-Jo’s government career began in Washington, D.C. working for Congressman Rehberg (R-MT) and Senator Burns (R-MT). From 2009 to 2016, Bobbi-Jo worked in the Office of Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter, most recently as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
Bobbi-Jo received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana in Political Science with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She is the Co-Chair of the Leadership In Nuclear Energy (LINE) Commission, and sits on the Idaho Council on Indian Affairs. In 2017, Bobbi-Jo was an Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 honoree. She lives in Boise with her husband Patrick and their sons, Wyatt (6) and Wayne (4).
Duane is an entrepreneurial minded Merchandising, Marketing and Business Development Executive with over 30 years’ experience at Albertsons, Supervalu, and private service management companies in the food drug mass channels. Born in California, grew up in the northwest, attended University of Washington, Duane’s entrepreneurial spirit has led him through a variety of experiences in his over 30 years in grocery, he has worked in both public and private companies. He has held roles in Marketing and Merchandising, Operations, Corporate Planning, Integration Strategy and Execution and has a great track record for driving innovation and leading change. Most recently he has created and is currently the managing partner of Catalyst Retail Solutions a company focused on developing and growing niche brands in the food, drug, mass and specialty channels.
Tommy is on the Sales Team for ClickBank. Originally from Ontario Oregon, Tommy has lived in Boise for ten years! In his free time Tommy likes golfing, skiing, fishing, outdoor activities, playing the guitar, and traveling. Tommy loves being a part of Fundsy because; “I like the positive impact that FUNDSY has on organizations in our community. The money we raise provides benefits that are felt by many throughout the years. There is no better feeling than helping others who are truly in need. It’s an honor and privilege serving on the board. My goal is to help FUNDSY bring as much happiness as possible to others.”
Sarah Reed is an attorney in the banking and real estate groups. She represents a wide variety of lenders and borrowers in the documentation and due diligence necessary for secularized lending. Sarah has been awarded Idaho Business Review’s 40 Under 40 in 2017, Leaders in Law, Up and Coming Lawyer in 2015, and Women’s & Children’s Alliance’s Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) award recipient in 2015. Sarah believes working with Fundsy is an opportunity to give back to our community in creative and fun ways. Our beneficiaries are able to showcase their mission to people they may never have touched.
Education is her true passion … it has one of the biggest impacts on our community.
Lisa has over worked for over 20 years in the real estate industry. With a background in residential mortgage lending, she moved into real estate asset management where she managed both residential and commercial real estate. Last year she joined the Boise Building Company team.
She also has a passion for volunteering for non-profit organizations and being active in the community. She believes whether it is our time, skills or money we give to others, it is the responsibility of each one of us to support the community we live in. “The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater our sense of well-being becomes,” Dalai Lama.
Lisa enjoys spending time in McCall, golfing, fly fishing and traveling, but most of all spending time with her husband Mike, friends and family.
Jann Marie Stockwell
Jann Marie Stockwell is the Communications Director for Optum Idaho leading internal and external communications, public relations and media outreach. She graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Communications and has over 20 years of experience in the communications, marketing and sales industry. Jann Marie is an Idaho native, enjoys raising her kids in the Treasure Valley, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and outdoor activities.
Jann Marie loves working with FUNDSY because it supports efforts in our community that make a positive and lasting impact on the lives, people and organizations in our area.
David is Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager for Key Bank. He has over 15 years of experience and a diverse banking background including commercial and consumer credit but spent most of his banking career on the treasury management side of banking. He is a graduate of Colorado State University and has been proud to call Idaho home for the last 11 years. David loves to spend time with his family (wife and four kids) in the great outdoors from the tee box to the chair lift and anything in-between.
Dan Tillis is the Director of Customer Service for Montana-Dakota Utilities Group, which includes Intermountain Gas Company (IGC), Cascade Natural Gas Corporation (CNGC), and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. (MDU). Dan joined MDU in January 2019, where he oversees all Customer Service functions for IGC, CNGC, and MDU for 1.1 million customers in 8 states, including Idaho. Dan began his career with the U.S. Army where he spent almost 8 years. After leaving the Army Dan joined CenturyLink, spending over 19 years in Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing leadership roles.
Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Webster University and a MBA from DeVry University – Keller Graduate School of Management.
Dan currently serves as Vice President of Lactic Acid Cycling, which is a non-profit cycling club that promotes participation in recreational cycling as well as cycling-related charitable activities. Dan is also active in the Western Energy Institute and currently serves as a member of the Executive Planning Committee. Dan and his wife, Jennifer, actively support Green Heart Rescue, working to find homes for and support senior and hospice dogs.
